Infusing new allure into silk culture through modern technology.

        Silkworm Cocooning

Spring silkworms weave the delicate threads of life.

Silkworm farming is no simple task: temperature control, food quantity, and cocooning time vary each time. Farmers dedicate themselves each day, carefully tending to the silkworms and nature with passion and care.

        Cocoon

A silkworm spins silk continuously for two days to complete its cocoon as a shelter.

Every cocoon silk can reach lengths of 1,300 to 1,500 meters.

        Silk Reeling

The thickness of silk is about one-fourth that of a human hair. Several cocoon filaments are twisted together to produce a single strand of raw silk.

The Grade 6A silk produced in Zhejiang Province is renowned for its high whiteness, excellent dyeability, and elegant luster, exuding a captivating charm.

        Raw Silk

After a series of reeling processes, silkworm cocoons are transformed into raw silk.

        Soaking and Drying

Soaking and drying raw silk is done to remove sericin (the natural gum on the silk fibers), enhancing the softness and luster of the silk. This process makes the raw silk smoother.

Additionally, this treatment reduces the risk of thread breakage during weaving, thereby increasing production efficiency and finished product quality.

        Pre-treatment

Through a series processes of pre-treatment and setting, the chemical and physical structure of the fibers is altered, making the fabric less prone to wrinkling, shrinking, and fading during washing.

        Processed Yarns

During storage, it is also essential to maintain consistent temperature and humidity.

        Warping Process

The natural protein fiber characteristics of silk yarn require a uniform temperature and humidity environment throughout the warping process, ensuring consistent tension across the warp yarns.

        Weaving

We employ advanced warp knitting technology and use various stitch patterns to compensate for the weft limitations of the yarn, enhancing the fabric's performance. At the same time, we maintain uniform tension to improve the fabric's surface smoothness and consistency, reducing weaving defects, making the fabric less prone to wrinkling.

        Dyeing and Printing

We use advanced color-fixing technology to improve colorfastness. Traditional silk colorfastness typically ranks at levels 3–4, but ours reaches levels 4–5, significantly surpassing standard silk. This enhancement allows our silk fabrics to be compatible with detergents.

      • Comparison Between Warp-Knitted Silk and Traditional Silk

        Wrinkle-resistant

Traditional silk fabric (above) vs. Warp-knitted silk fabric (below)

It is clear that the warp-knitted fabric has better elasticity, remains wrinkle-free, structured, and offers a more comfortable wearing experience.

        Machine washable and detergent-friendly

Traditional silk fabric, after machine washing with regular detergent

It is evident that after machine washing and ironing, the traditional fabric shows signs of fading (white spots in the image).
